Do I need an account?
No. You can plan an entire trip without signing up — a random identifier in a cookie on your device remembers which trips are yours. An account only becomes necessary when you want a trip to follow you to another device, or when you join someone else's crew, so that everyone spending money on a shared trip is someone the group actually invited.
Does it work without signal?
Yes, that is most of the point. The app shell, your trip data and the map tiles you have already looked at are cached on the device, so the plan survives a dead zone. Anything you change offline syncs when you come back. Downloading a region of the map in advance is worth doing before a mountain pass.
Where do the drive times come from?
Every leg is routed on the real road network and cached, so the number you see is the road you will actually drive — passes, switchbacks, the long way round the fjord — not a straight-line estimate with a fudge factor. Move a stop and the affected legs re-route. Days over about five hours behind the wheel get flagged in the itinerary rather than quietly hidden.
Who can see my trip?
Only the crew you invited. A read-only share link shows the plan and nothing else — no expenses, no check-in locations, no emergency contacts, no discussion. Share links are excluded from search engines, but treat one as forwardable: anyone holding it can see the itinerary. See Privacy for the full picture.
How do I delete a trip or my data?
Deleting a trip removes it and everything attached to it — stops, expenses, lists and photos — for everyone on it. If you have an account and want it erased entirely, email us and we will do it; you do not have to explain why.
Something is wrong with a campsite or a road.
Campsites, drinking water and caravan sites come from OpenStreetMap, and roads are routed from the same data. If a place is wrong, fixing it in OpenStreetMap fixes it for everyone using that data, not just here. Tell us anyway if something looks badly off — it is sometimes ours.
